Hexfire is a metal band from Poland which sound can be best described as power metal with a modern feel. The band combines powerful rhythms with fast & melodic guitar riffs, futuristic keyboards and strong vocals. Hexfire’s songs touch upon existential topics encouraging people to think about their life and the world around them. Combining their unique style, high tempos, well-thought-out lyrics and you have the essence of Hexfire.

The idea of Hexfire appeared in the three minds of Jacob Liszko (guitar), Lucas Liszko (vocal) and Michael Badocha (bass), long before the band was actually formed. Three guys playing at one time in the band called Dragonscale but knowing it was time to move on. After months of thinking about what the bands message and sound should be, they gathered their ideas and in 2009 Hexfire was born. The concept of the band name Hexfire was conceived to be the
“The Fire of Redemption” in the last days of mankind; the fire which would assist to redeem people by real music with intent causing them to think inwardly about their life and the world around them.

At the end of 2009, guitarist Vitold Ustapiuk and keyboardist Peter Sikora joined Hexfire and the band found it’s full lineup and began immediately writing powerful, ground breaking songs to contribute to this, their debut album. In their mission, the men born of fire were supported by a team of well-known musicians who guest on The Fire of Redemption (Niclas Etelavuori (Amorphis), Novy (ex-Behemoth & Vader), Alex Holzwarth (Rhapsody of Fire, Avantasia), Jonno Lodge (Biomechanical, ex- Paul Di’Anno), Diego ‘Grom’ Meraviglia (ex-Ancient, Doomsword), Kasper Gram (Manticora), Martin Arendal (Manticora, Wuthering Heights), and Kristian Larsen (Manticora).

After the long recording sessions in various studios in 2010, the album is ready to be unleashed to the world.

History is still being written for these new comers, but the power of metal is deep within them.
